Re: OFFICIAL: Q&A for DACA forms Part 2

When I was around 13 years old I got caught stealing a $4 product from a walmart store. I did not get arrested or charged but i was taken to the security room and they got all my information and treated as a minor. I dont remember if they took my fingerprints and was only issued a ticket my mail. Should i write it down on the application and explain my situation or should i ignore this?

here do a background check if it appears there then you have to explain. otherwise if it does not don't throw yourself into a snake pit.

ok im new to this i have a few questions. my stepdad file for me back in 200 i believe but due to my mom being married to my dad and she not having the correct paper work they voided her marriage to my step dad and close the aplication. on form i821d on 3a. i believe we had gotten a letter of deportation(to my understanding) back when i was young. but we never left... what should i answer. also i been working at a high school for the last 6 years with the social provided for me when we file. will this affect my application. also where should i send the money order to?
i feel i should ask a lawyer like my sister did, but she file about 2 months ago and all shes gotten is the letter indicated that they recieved the application. it seems that mailing it in is much faster. what should i do any ideas??

You need a lawyer asap before you do ANYTHING!!you have a very complicated case and you need a lawyer that will , god forbid, represent you in case something goes wrong and they won't approve you (cause then not only you, but your family as well will be in trouble if they send your application to ICE).

Yes just make sure to provide info about your expenses in order to show your necessity for a work payment. For example; expenses for food/education/transportation/cloths/ bills etc' that your parents pay money out of their pocket for you. You should also mention, like i did, that you would like to show pay for tuition and use your degree in the future.

I saw some people include 2 identical passport photos when they send the form. Is that required? I read through USCIS guidelines but didn't find where they mentioned about it. I print copies of my passport and driver's license with my pictures on them as proof of identity. Should be enough??

either way make sure and get tracking.. & signature if you want to feel better about it

did you write the address exactly the way it appears on the website? or did u add attn:daca on the envelope?

okay, no your case is not complicated and no you don't need a lawyer. this forum has been better and more informed than alot of lawyers.

so for question 3a, put yes if you know for sure you got a letter of deportation. from reading your case was closed so 3b check the b box administratively closed.

no only criminal activities, contradicting information, lies, if you are a threat to the nation or not enough evidence will affect your application. since your SS is real, then you have nothing to worry about, it's now part of you identity.

send the money order to U.S. Department of Homeland Security.

hey, don't scare people like that. really, there are people with no passport, birth certicates and nothing, those are complicated. unless he is a criminal and a threat to the nation even if his case is denied his app will not be taken to ICE. they have been people on deportation, like me, and we filed for our selves without lawyers. so please stop the non factual scares.

the photos are for the work permit Form I-765 which is you read the instruction for that form, if you are mailing it you mail with the photos. that's why pepole are including the photos.

If you have a valid passport, then you don't need to send a copy of your birth certificate.

A passport that hasn't expired, preferably with a current photo. I translated my birth certificate because my passport expired in 1996! Haha, and I was around 5 years old in the photo.

Do you know where this is stated? On the list of materials to use as proof of identity it only says to "submit copies of any of the following."

[*]Proof of Identity:
  • Passport or national identity document from your country of origin
  • Birth certificate with photo identification
  • School or military ID with photo
  • Any U.S. government immigration or other document bearing your name and photo

uscis.gov/childhoodarrivals

It can be either. More proof is nice, but they have the same outcome.

Re: OFFICIAL: Q&A for DACA forms Part 2

Few questions,

1)Education Information
For question 18 I entered College Student (Tranfering this Fall)
For question 19 I entered the name of the college I'm transferring to
For question 20 Not sure if I'm supposed to enter
a. The last semester I attended college
b. The date I received my Assoc Degree or
c. The date I graduated from HS
2) Evidence that I have resided IN the US continuously from June 15, 2007

I worked at a company twice, both times for around 2-3 months, the first time I wasn't asked for a SSN the second time I was. I've read this forum and consulted ALOT of people and I will not be entering any SSN in the application.

The problem is that the only evidence I have for the months of June/Aug of 2007 are the pay stubs from the first time I worked at that company. Should I submit those pay stubs even or can I just send evidence starting from September 2007?

Sorry for the long post and thank you in advance for any help you can provide.
