Re: 2019 expiration and renewals!

My EAD expires on March 24, 2019. My renewal was approved today. Below is my timeline.

Sent: January 8th, 2019
Biometric: January 30th, 2019
Approved: February 20th, 2019

I also have a final order of deportation from my mom's denied asylum case. Hopefully getting married in next two years so I can adjust my status.

I have final removal order as well from my mom’s denied asylum. You sent in your renewal pretty late . If you sent it in 5 months prior , you would have gotten it approved earlier than Feb 20th.

Yeah I sent it late to maximize my EAD time. I rather lose one month than 3-4 month.

I'm getting close to 150 days (March) till my EAD expiration date. I'll started prepping for that soon enough. Hoping to find a job as well too in the mean time.

If we’re paying with a credit card, do we just have to send one form g1450 in or two? I ask because aren’t we applying for two things (DACA and an EAD)? I read that USCIS will reject your application if you have multiple applications and only one form G1450.

Has anyone noticed or heard of any delay AFTER doing the biometrics?

I was approved the same day I did my biometrics (early Jan) but my sibblings haven't gotten any updates for a month already. My brother did call to expedite his case but checking on his receipt numbers, they both have "Case is being actively reviewed by USCIS"

Though I live in a different state, we all sent our apps to the same center office.

It’s all having to do with the individual officer reviewing the case. How quickly the FBI background check comes. And how quickly they are able to do the interagency (USCIS, ICE, DHS,etc) background check.
