The tier 2 agents at USCIS told me on Friday that neither of my two applications were approved and were still pending, they said the approval status online was just a glitch on the system. Today I get both approval letters through the mail. In conclusion, it is a big mess over there.

I've yet to see someone from New York approved after their RFE. We are all still waiting. :confused:

I have seen a few people who got approved shortly after sending in their evidence, well again it is a case by case review.

I got the e-mail/text saying they received my RFE package yesterday...does anyone know a time frame in which it takes for them to process everything and (hopefully) approve me. I know it says 30 days, but i would assume it would be earlier than that, cuz the approved ppl seem to get a response pretty quick after their RFE's.

The email/text says 60 days.
Approval varies by Service Center, agent handling your case and the evidence they are requesting. On a positive light, someone has already looked at your case, many people can't say that. Just be a bit more patient, your case will get approved. :)

Honestly it could take a few days to months. I've seen people approved within days and some people still waiting months now. So hard to say a time frame. Let's hope it's a short wait for you!

I guess the centers are being swamped with applications, but hopefully i can hear something before the ending of the month. Thanks again for the quick responses.

60 Days is overkill. Mine has been pending for over 85 days and NO ONE helps. They keep telling me to wait for the 4 to 6 month processing period. They specifically state that we should hear within 60 days. From experience I can tell you that doesn't always apply. Apologies, but I am very frustrated. Can't believe they would review a case back in September and then hold off sooooo long without giving any kind of update. The Vermont Service Center is driving me crazy.

so Im still waiting for my RFE letter to come to my house (supposedly it was mailed dec 19th). I called them on Jan 3rd and they told me to contact them in 15 days if i still havent received it. How many days do you get for you to turn in the evidence they are requesting?

Omg I'm so frustrated I guess i'm not the only one going through it. I got a rfe on October 21, they got my respond October 23. It's been wayyyyyy pass 60 days and have yet to hear or see and update. I've called customer service twice and they said they dont see any update. Vermont Center need to stop playing with people lives. They are approving people who just sent there apps in, but making it a long process for the ones who put there applications long ago??? I'm so depressed:cry:

I got approved today folks!!!! Its all in my signature!
The RFE was asking for proof that I was here on June 15, 2012!!!
My proof was screenshots from my Facebook account(check ins) and affidavits from a friend I was with that day.
I love this forum, I will continue to lurk the forums, as I was before. :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

I know exactly how you feel. They received my reply on Oct. 10th and I am STILL WAITING! Mine is at the Vermont Processing Center as well. They are jumping around and ignoring our cases. I've called, emailed, I've even been hung up on and NOTHING. Isn't there a way we can file a complaint? It's wrong for them to keep ignoring us. This was supposed to help us, not cause us even more hardship! It's utter crap that they say expect to hear a reply within 60 days and then nothing. I know of others people who have been approved within days of sending additional evidence. What happened to RFE reviews in October?

You should have gotten it. Did you file with a lawyer? If so, the lawyer will get it, not you. If you didn't, and 2wks from when the notice was mailed to you passes, and you haven't received it yet, call USCIS.
