^ There's no specific required number. The more the better... We just need that magic 60 number when it comes to vote.

Sen. Schumer and Sen. Burris of Illinois should cosponsor too. Sen. Burris has Obama's old seat, and it'd be nice if Burris followed his predecessor's lead.

senators dont necessarily need to sponsor a bill in order for them to vote yes on it?

I have a question? Does anybody know when this session of congress ends??
I remember from past session that as soon as Thanksgiving comes around, they always seem to be in "vacations"..I mean recess.
