How many co-sponsors are needed for both the Senate and the House?

^ There's no specific required number. The more the better... We just need that magic 60 number when it comes to vote.

Re: New Co-Sponsors
Sen. Schumer and Sen. Burris of Illinois should cosponsor too. Sen. Burris has Obama's old seat, and it'd be nice if Burris followed his predecessor's lead.

Re: New Co-Sponsors
senators dont necessarily need to sponsor a bill in order for them to vote yes on it?

Re: New Co-Sponsors
I have a question? Does anybody know when this session of congress ends??
I remember from past session that as soon as Thanksgiving comes around, they always seem to be in "vacations"..I mean recess. |
