The best guy to do it would be representative Luis Guiterraz. He shows up on CNN atleast once every week for some news or the other.

All he has to say is " Ok arizona check this out.. My buddies are boycotting XYZ companies starting next week untill you start putting pressure on your state lawmakers"

This would send panic everywhere because everyone knows no one is more legit in the eyes of immigrants than Mr guiterraz.

Not to sound disheartening but here is the truth:

All major companies that are in Arizona have offices/factories in other states as well. Many of these companies make campaign donations to politicians including our Mr. Gutierrez as well. To what extent he would be willing to go on the line and boycott those very same corporations is really up to him. For that its important to find out his donor list.

Secondly, openly boycotting companies can have its own consequences. Once out in the open, the right wingers will openly embrace and go out of their way to spend money on those very same companies so it kind of balances out. Have you recently read the comments on sections where LA boycotted Arizona ?! most of the people were commenting they would go out of their way to support Arizona by vacationing there... So its basically a number game. Are immigrants > Right wingers or vice versa.

Nevertheless, I really hope someone can get across to Gutierrez regarding the boycott. shit can only get better.

Yes I'm aware of the LA boycott, thing is boycotts do go both ways.
Especially when it comes down to the media.
So it is vital that we don't step on the wrong toes...
