If it is then why did Obama make a fuss about employment authorization?

They are not the same as to get prosecutorial discretion your are pretty much getting your removal case administrative closed and you go back to being undocumented in some cases they let you get an EAD but it's rare.

The deferred action is completely different and you don't have to be in removal to apply.

Google AILA and do a search for an attorney in your area you cannot go wrong with an Attorney who is part of the AILA

Its going to be so hard to prove that I was here from 2007 through now. I didn't even have a bank account till last year, and I wasn't in school. I worked under the table till last year when I started my own business!

Call your local consulate or embassy and ask them how you would go about getting a birth certificate.

Do you parents have it? You would have to go to your embassy/consulate for this. Try calling the hospital you were born in also.

AFAIK,You require proof on paper for 5 continuous years not just be here from 2007.If you can do that you should be just fine.

Start gathering letters of support fr USc or permanent residents that can say that they have known you for however long and dig thru bills or ANYTHING that has dates and your name.

We get a lot of clients going through cancellation of removal that can't prove their continuous residence so we supplement it with LOTS of letters notirize from people who can vouch for them
