I am sorry to say if Democrats don't come to the table and work with this bill we are never going to solve the undocumented problem. From what I've seen so far about this, it sounds reasonable to me. This is the golden opportunity in my opinion. Read the details carefully please. It said that the Raise Act "reduces overall immigration numbers to limit LOW SKILLED AND UNSKILLED LABOR entering U.S." GOD please make the Democrats come to the table and be receptive to this.

I'm all for a merit system but not in favor of reducing immigration levels and refugees.

I can't understand how people seem to convince themselves that all anti-immigration bills will result in a DREAM Act compromise of some sort. Especially since it never happened before. A bill goes through many steps before becoming law and is amended and changed a million times. A bill will look completely unrecognizable coming out of conference. I would like to see DA added too but it's likely it will be stripped by Cruz & Co before the process is over.
