Siding with the guy who would have you and your family deported. You have no self respect smh .

Dumb?

The only way to get permanent relief is through congress, and what trump did was right, creating an urgency for a solution was the only way to get this sorted out since the Dream act just gets killed every time it goes for voting as a standalone bill. Fucking snowflakes smh

It isnt our fault to be in this situation, we had no other option when we were brought here, all other illegals shouldn't even get mad or anything if deported, they know what they got themselves into, we didnt.

Inb4 some SJW gets triggered.

Some of you are forgetting two very important points:

1)The day before the shithole comment meeting Trump is on tape saying he will sign any bill that the group before him comes up with even if it doesn't include everything he wants

2) The bill that included limited help for some TPS recipients was bipartisin. The means Flake & Trump Whisperer Graham agreed to it.

Yet this is all Durbin's fault? How are you supposed to compromise with someone who changes his mind the next day? The day before Trump said he would sign any compromise bill. He almost agreed to a clean DREAM Act during that meeting.

It was never going to pass. Miller and Kelly killed it.

I can't even understand how some people here can blame Durbin.

WE ARE TALKING ABOUT TRUMP. An asshole who has NO convictions and who willingly appointed some of the most racist, scummiest pieces of human shit stains to be his in his administration.

How can anyone even think for a second that Durbin would do anything to sink a deal he's been after for SEVENTEEN YEARS is beyond me.

Ungrateful shits. What does he have to gain from getting relief for us? He's always getting a disproportionate amount of backlash when he mentions the Dreamers, yet he's there, fighting for us every single day.

If we don't get relief, which is highly likely, don't blame him. Blame Trump and while you're at it blame all the GOP and the Dem leadership.

In the grand scheme of things, as someone known to 'deal' it'd be silly for him to take the first proposal without any resistance. I'm holding onto a remote hope that this is his way of negotiating for another shot at it this week.

There's no negotiation, it's take it or leave it with him. I'd take Goodlatte's bill at this point, it'll pass the house, maybe 10 dems would vote for it in the Senate, unfortunately that's our most realistic shot. 5 stages of grief, I'm at bargaining right now.
