Flake, full of news this morning, says McConnell has agreed to hold an immigration floor vote *regardless* of Trump approval.

Senate Democrats appear locked-in, opposed to Feb 8 CR pitched by McConnell. Dems would prefer shorter CR of just a few days. Am told Dems appear more unified than they have been in a while. @ChadPergram

Dem senators came away from their afternoon meeting more united - “resolute” in the words of one of them - showing no signs of backing down in #shutdown fight, I’m told. They talked about focusing their messaging on “Trump shutdown” going forward @mkraju
