And let's not pretend that "we have to take of ourselves so we can save the rest" is genuine. Ask most DACA recipients what the bare minimum they would take from the DACA debate and most say at least a work permit with the ability to travel. Travel for family emergencies, education, or business? Nah, we wan't to go take selfies at some tourist destination somewhere.

It's human nature, and like I said I've done and thought the same, but it's still a shitty feeling when you realize that you never put up a fight.

Not at all Lempira, but you should be able to question someone attitude toward other immigrants, doesn't meant you'd get all or nothing at all.
