ok so go with what your prof said. i just remembered that today was the calling in thing so i asked my teacher what he thought about out of state people calling. i'm not trying to discourage you from doing anything. just thought everyone would like to know

We're calling to thank them, not to ask them for world peace. People rarely call to thank senators, so I'm sure they appreciate it.
