Calm down everyone, howcome i didn't c anything on CNN or FOX that some CIR bill is about to be introduced tomorrow. I watched John King USA, nothing in there and am going to c IF bill o'reilly mentions anything. I don't know how much truth is in there. And if this bill comes on floor and passed it will be wonderful for everyone.

Isn't DA now attached to the Defense bill of 2011? Reid filed a rule 14.

True, now, after the election, Dream Act could come to the floor as a stand alone bill or an amendment to the Defense Bill.

The comprehensive immigration is not going to pass this year, everyone inside the Beltway knows that. What Dem tries to do is to introduce a CIR bill, which will be the basis for the CIR in the next congressional session. Dream Act attached in CIR is just for the worst case scenario when Dream Act doesn't pass this year.

Its still good to see this proposal though. So Dream Act is now attached to 2 bills?

So it gets better and better for us. What is the maximum amount of bills you can attach DA to?

you can attach DA to pretty much anything ! it just depends on the willingness of the senators.

So why not keep attaching it and one of these bills hopefully will pass.
