Welfare is not the problem. The real problem is the system and the abuse from some people. Whites are actually the largest consumers of welfare benefits, blacks and latinos are represented at far higher percentages but let us not forget that european americans also play there part. This is not to excuse the behavior of the mass of latino and black citizens that do it though but merely to point out the fact that almsot all segments of America has entitlement fever, really the only two segments of America that don't have it are african and asian immigrants to the united states. African immigrants are in my mind the true model minority, they feature the highest high school and college graduation rates of any ethnic group in the country as well as at times higher SAT scores then most asian groups. |
