Nowhere in any iteration of the DREAM act has there ever been a pre-requisite that you have to have been brought by someone esle vs. entering on your own. The requisite is having arrived before age 15 or 16, how it was done doesn't matter.

You don't have to respond to every single thing I write; this isn't Facebook or Twitter, I'm not gunning for fans or follows.

funny how you mention that, because when your advocates first went out of the country you came in here looking for support, instead you found no support except for the very few who don't really think of the bigger picture. We've got funny guys here posting pictures of poor souls trying to get into this country for a better life and instead say "this is pushing it" what they did wasn't the smart thing to do I don't care where you come from or if you qualify for the DREAM act. Their chances got screwed by what they did, there was no "eye opening" for anybody here. If CIR does pass, these guys will still face criminal charges, and if they do get dropped it wont be fair for the rest of us.

@zone2000 They are not 'my adovocates'; I am not involved in their organizations. I am free to post my point of view and opinions, and in this particular case, they are to the contrary of OP's statement that they pushed it too far for the undocumented population at large.

You don't have to care about their cases nor about my personal circumstances because we are strangers posting things here anonymously - but it isn't I who'll get to make a decision for these people. The immigration officers or judge if they get prosecuted will do that. It is up to the federal government, but I do believe they acted out of desperation. And naivety. Maybe there's a legal argument available that we don't know or cannot see. I feel for them being in solitary detention; it is a horrible experience to be in a detention center, I don't wish it on anyone, much less to non-criminal, non-dangerous people. I've said all I care to say and have a long work week ahead, so good night.

So basically you're letting your emotions stop you from thinking logically.

Thats good to know.

Why is it that on every thread you try to bash on me and talk your non-sense, NOTHING good comes out of your fingers. This is an observation of what's going on, but of course you're too MOD EDIT to comprehend what's going on around you. Do us all a favor and keep your thoughts to your self. Furthermore, you seem to be the kid around here, but i'm going to let you be and do your thing.
