This is all politics people, Obama is walking a slippery slope,that could doom any chance of CIR passing forever.Whomever Obama chooses to give TPS to will be stuck in limbo forever or until a Democrat loses the WH just as DACA recipents are now. What push for CIR will be needed, after all we can drive,ssn and no fear of deportation,he will in fact be have created the 2nd class citizens that the dems fought so hard against in the 1st senate bill,remember a pathway to citizenship.Obama needs to force those lazy ass politicians to do there friggen jobs already!!!!

Some of you are worry that Obama's move will create a second class citizen, YES it is not the best scenario but the other option we have at this point is the republicans approach. DEPORT THEM ALL. Take your pick.

It's funny how some of you suggest that doing nothing is better than a TPS. HELL NO if you have a TPS you can get marry, you can have kids and move on with your life instead of just waiting for republicans to do something for you and at the same time we can organize our community to kick out as much republicans as we can from congress.

Your are correct in that TPS is better than nothing,I hope it passes so that when all is said and done,the 2nd class will see how much they are missing out on.Because there will be no need to make them legal after all, you can work,drive and no fear of deportation. I wonder how many of the est 5million will even come out of the shadows.If they are in fact working under the table,or not paying taxes,why would I tell my employer "hey pay me on the books I have TPS" employer:" really" ...lets see how long you stay employed after TPS because the same undocumented person you where before will not work for the same wages as the one behind you in line waiting for your job. This mess called immigration will have undocumented vs undocumented,ie; those that qualify and those that don't...I don't think you need to be legal to be married or have kids or move on with your life.

You are assuming that TPS will stop all efforts to pass CIR or that TPS will doom CIR . TPS will be a step forward, If we are not afraid to be deported and we have a drivers license we are going to be in a better position to push for CIR in the same way DACA recipients are doing right now.
No you don't need to be legal to be married or have kids but without TPS or legal status you still can be deported and leave your family without your sopport.

Bottom line here is: When life give lemons, make lemonade.

Your right again,but unfortunately It will delay some sort of CIR passing anytime soon..Obama is acting now , why because it's midterm election time..So once he makes the announcement and USCIS comes up with its rules to apply and the dollar amount it will be at least October,or November..For DACA it was announced in June and implemented in AUG. Immigration is a political tool that Dems nor Repubs wants to fix,as long as the dems can keep getting the latino vote and talking the talk,why fix it? Do you really think the Republicans will rush to pass CIR as the Senate bill is written to stop a TPS move by Obama,hell no...Obama is giving them exactly what they want people with no chance of citizenship..no new voters.. Lets make lemonade...there have also been some reports that this move by Obama could cost the Dems the senate..Americans as a whole are fed up with the inaction of both parties on several issues. The Republicans have done nothing but fought this BLACK president tooth and nail for the last 6years...I have never seen such disrespect for any other American president in my 20 yrs of being here.
