It's not official. Any anti immigrant representative can offer an amendment when the full house votes on it and strip it. Most of you guys should get familiar with the legislative process.

It has to pass the full House and Senate, still. This amendment passed the committee.

Is it significant because it survived a mostly republican committee? Don't most bills go through committees only to be killed in the house/senate ? For example, the various dream act bills

These heartless assholes just can't stop destroying us , they said " GOP committee approved bill to allow " illegals" to take federal jobs from Americans. Using their tax money to pay the salary of illegals.

These people are used to blame their own failure on the immigrant . Pathetic !
