What’s your issue with ending chain migration for extended family?

Many parents have been here for decades waiting on their us citizen children to turn 21 years of age to finally be able to sponsor. They’re about to get kicked to the curve like trash.

I’m pretty sure I’ve explained this before, and I’m pretty sure your response was that you only care about yourself so why do I even bother responding now.

"extended family" also means undocumented sons and daughters over 21, so any younger and older dreamers that weren't eligible for the first round of DACA that possibly wont be covered in a narrowly focused compromise bill will have the last possible way the could have legalized themselves in the future taken away from them.

It’s funny how a few weeks ago I was told by many here that the ending of chain migration was “never gonna happen”, but now it seems like a certain reality. Lol

I’m ready for the jokers to attack my opinion.

They are going to limit it to only daca recepients. What’s your issue with that?

Don't you guys understand that the little we may be getting in the form of relief will be a miracle in and of itself? And you're bitching about not getting everything you want?

I actually wouldn’t mind that, but they won’t limit it to just that.

Actually Graham has been pushing for it to be limited to DACA recipients for weeks now.

As I made very clear today, our country needs the security of the Wall on the Southern Border, which must be part of any DACA approval.
