If Democrats offered $25B in the past, why wouldn't they agree to the $5.6B now in exchange of legalization (NOT BRIDGE). THis is the perfect opportunity. I'll tell you why. McCarthy, if you asked me... he doesn't even count in this equetion, plus he is one of the assholes that fuck us out of a deal in 2018. He is in the house which is crearly control by the Dems now and they don't need him at all.

The only true negotiotions here is going to be between Trump and the Dems - Trump will not listen to anything that McKarthy has to say because he doesn't bring anything to the table. I think this negotiations are going to be slow - Trump wants the wall (does the only way to keep his base) now the Dems need to cut a deal that, I would be very disappointed if they cave to the Bridge Act. I do see a deal out of it, time will tell.
