Sonawabich my folks had file a petition for me when I was young teen but because of whole lot of stuff I don't want to get into... I got aged out... Have you contacted your Senator's office? If not you should reach out to his/her office and inquire if they will help you. I had to write them a letter, etc.

March 1st marked a month after we sent back the RFE response. Before that, I was in touch with the California Service Center and they sent me an e-mail saying that we should receive a response within 30 days from when we mailed back the RFE.

So on March 2nd I sent them an e-mail just following up on the status of her case. They haven't replied yet.

I contacted the Service Center through e-mail after I had initially put in a Service Request because the first RFE letter didn't arrive.

it suppose to be 60 days but there are couple of us that 2 months have gone by and for some of us 4th or 3rd month have gone by like meeee.........and when i call the customer service it's same crap "every case is different" bull shit .........after 2 service request and congressman contacting them still nothing......i'm running out of option i guess so the only option i have is to waitttttt

I got approved!!!! I had gotten a call from a company that had offered me a job yesterday morning to let me know that they could not wait for me any longer and they were going to have to hire another person. I was a bit bummed out because this process was talking so long and it had just caused me to lose a job. Today at around 3pm i received an email stating that my card went into production!!! ( talk about bad timing)..... Losing the job does not matter to me anymore because everything happens for a reason and I'm finally approved!! To all those who are waiting... do not lose hope, your time will come!!

We are on the same boat!! I received an RFE on Monday 4th of this month (March) saying they had sent me a letter with a RFE. They received my app sept 20th and I just got the RFE, almost at the 6 month period.

As of today, I have not received the letter, i live in the west coast, in Oregon, have you received your letter?? If so, where are you from?

They received my RFE Jan. 18th and I was approved 3/6 (vermont) . I'm not sure if this is a coincidence but a week before I got approved I called my congresswoman and asked her office to please inquire about my case. Today I received a letter from the congresswoman dated 3/5 So I'm guessing that the inquiry filed by the congresswomen helped me get approved since i got approved a day later. I would recommend those who have been waiting more than 60 days to get in touch with their local congressman and seek some help from them.
