Did it worry u that it took so long for them to approve u, that's at least 3weeks when most people got approved after sending their rfe in 2 to 5 days. I'm concerned cause I'm reaching the 2nd week and still no approval

hey everyone,

so i finally got my RFE. all my siblings are holding EAD right now and i'm stuck with this RFE. even though we all had gaps in our evidence but we still provided something from each year. that being said...

my RFE states this...

CONTINUOUS RESIDENCE:
the evidence you submitted with your i821 to establish that you have continuously resided in the usa during 5 year period immediately before june 15, 2012 and up to time of filing is insufficient. please submit evidence of your continuous residence for the years of 2007, 2008, 2009.

the only thing comes to mind is dental records for those 3 years. please correct me if i'm wrong but they only need evidence for these 3 years right? nothing else beside the fact? i just want to make sure i'm not missing out on anything.

I sent a bunch of honor roll certificates and other school awards as my proof of continuous residence. Is this good enough? I know it's so late to ask.

Well vermont is slow .. i wont worry it was actually 14 working days exactly .. so count the working days

I have a gap from june to december for 2010, I only have one thing for august and one for november. They also wanted evidence for 2011 and im sending credit card statements for each month for 2011. would that be enough for 2010?

Yes I sent mine on the 24th still nothing, but mine is from Cali it should not take this long

let me walk you thru it my muslim sister, first of all dont panic when u get ur RFE letter, obviously u did already so from my experience to RFE i thought my life was over and i will never come up with the evidences that they asked for, mind u that i got 2 RFE's, the first one was con't presence from 2009 to 2012, and the second one presence in the usa in june 15, 2012. so i was faced with 1000 dilemmas, which turned out to be all right at the end, so i started collecting paper works, in my case i did not submit any proof of continiouns presence in the original evidence, so i went crazy once i got my RFE, i have collected over 60 paper work as proof and evidence for my con't, so this time the case worker is gonna go crazy because at first i thought like i dont want to stress out the caseworker but this time game on, so just send them any possible document that u could find from emails wired internet payment which i have plenty of those from my gym membership to my clear internet wired payments month my month statments, western unions receipts dated back in 2010, my ITIN, and even my facebook checkins and friend tags with a picture and date.

Did anyone receive back their return receipt from USPS after sending their rfe. I sent mine on the 24th still haven't received my return receipt. Please let me know. Thank you.
