Re: States that give US in-state tuition (list)
So I guess this is why earlier this year Youguysareawesome found a list of Minnesota schools that gave us in-state tuition. It wasn't the schools that that decided it was actually a bill that was passed and signed by the governor.

CSN (College of Southern Nevada,) which is the Community College in Las Vegas offers in-state tuition as well. Plus, the counselor that I talked to, told me that after I completed 2 years there, he could put me in UNLV as an in-state student as well.
Sucks...that I had to move to Miami, FL, and here I have to pay out-of-state tuition. |
Re: States that give US in-state tuition (list)
Thought this would be relevant to this thread:
http://www.aascu.org/media/pm/pdf/in..._tuition07.pdf It's called "In-State Tuition for Undocumented Immigrants: States’ Rights and Educational Opportunity" and talks about what states offer instate and other things regarding undocumented students and education. It was published in August 2007. I know it's the same states as before, but I thought it was a good read and wanted to share it. |

I was under the impression that you have to claim that you are citizen to a federal or state institution to disqualify you from adjusting with USCIS. Can somebody shed more light on this? |
Re: States that give US in-state tuition (list)
Some, i dont know if all, community colleges in New Jersey give you instate tuition.
