@fl_dreamer - thanks for reiterating that. Yes, we should not openly say we are open to compromise.

We need to keep the message positive.

I just think that we should not state whether we're open to compromise. That will give GOP leverage and then they'll demand the Raise Act. Nancy and Chuck know what they're doing - and I would hate to indirectly hurt the negotiations in any way.

Reading UWD's tweets - they are sending mixed messages and contradicting themselves. Not trying to bash them but just stating my observation. Some are saying to pass the DA now/ASAP while others are demanding clean DA only because border security hurts communities.

@DreamersforUSA is doing a great job (it may be a DAP member ? ) and is actually tweeting @realDonaldTrump - praising him and saying positive things. I think the #DacaDeal tweets are great :) But let's not say "we're willing to compromise" just yet.

Let's just keep our message positive, tweet statistics, RT Senators who support us, urge those who haven't yet and RT individual Dreamers sharing their stories. Just my suggestions.

Thank you Zara for posting this and reaching out to me via PM. I'm glad you understand what I was trying to explain about internal strategy. And I agree lets tweets supportive, positive messages but lets not lay all our cards on the table
We should refrain from direct statements pertaining to compromise, the wall, e verify, etc.
As we don't know what deals/negotiations may already be in play.

Although I understand not wanting to use #DreamActNow, I don't think #HereToStay has negative connotations. We are truly here to stay, with DA or not, most of us will remain here.

We need to speak out against these idiots who are ruining our chances (and our livelihood). Can we voice our opinion that they don't represent us and maybe even support their removal (ICE)???

You are welcome :)

I personally think the #DacaDeal and #ThankYouPelosi hashtags are our best bet.

And can I just say this again - I am loving the posts by @DreamersforUSA

I don't know guys, the #heretostay slogan always sounded to me very bratty. Am I the only who thinks that? After all I think the way to get this passed, is to show it as a compassionate bill for those who share the values of US citizens, and #heretostay sounds to me as an entitlement.

Am I crazy? I would really like to understand your perspective on this.

What FL_dreamer was saying earlier - we should be sensitive to how we are perceived by others - especially the GOP. (We already have Dems on board so don't need to worry about them).

We need to appeal to people's emotions AND logic.

Many conservative/life-long GOP folks I know cannot be convinced so easily. If we show them what THEY have to lose (impact on economy, loss of jobs/skilled workers, cost of deporting Dreamers) only then can we get their support. It's up to us to educate and inform them.

I think you should tweet every GOP Representative that cosponsored RACA and ask them to cosponsor and/or sign discharge petition.

For our twitter to be relevant, it has to stay current and active. There is plenty of content out there.
