The latest: House Rs say they are moving forward with full year of defense funding with CR for rest of government

NEWS: CR for non-defense would tentatively be until JAN. 19, 2018, GOP source says

Well, Schumer said no to that, so we'll see how that goes in the Senate.

My prediction (Very flawed) remains that House/Senate pass the spending bill on Dec. 22 on everything BUT a DACA fix, and that the fix will be negotiated in a separate, parallel track.

If they do it separately thry have to know there’s a big risk of Trump vetoing it

Democrats know it. I personally HATE it. But seems like that's the way we may be heading toward...

Trump has been recently talking a lot about dv lottery and chain migration. He said he would end both. If he gets just one of them along with border security I very much doubt he would veto.
