Could it be 2 different rfes??

This has happened to many people, including myself. It seems to be a glitch on their part. You should receive your RFE letter one week after the second notice. Unless you applied with a lawyer, in that case they will receive the letter.

I sent a certified disposition for a misdemeanor back in 2004. When they received it April 8 status said to expect a response within 60 days. Guess I might be approved towards the middle of June.

Wow well my 60 days will be 6/18/13 so I hope to get approved before them too!

I just got a text that both of my niece's applications (I-821D and I-765) were moved from vermont to our local field office. Does this usually happen before an RFE?

(she got married in 01/2012, and her application was submitted in 12/2012 using her maiden name because she had already filed for divorce and had effectively never used her married name. As of 5/2013, her divorce isn't yet finalized...)

Actually, the wait is much shorter once you send in what they ask for. 1-2 weeks for most members on this forum. Including myself.

I heard this once on the forum a while back but did not see the result of it. It could be that they are getting ready to interview her personally to give her a chance to explain any findings and the best place for this is the field office as it is usually close by..

So I was checking my case online on the USCIS website and this is what it says:

"At this time USCIS cannot provide you with information for your case. Please contact the NCSC 1 (800) 375-5283 for additional information."

I called and the first rep didn't have any info so he transferred me to a higher rep and he basically said the same thing...that they do not have any info on the case, and I asked if they have received my RFE and he said that he cannot tell me anything and they do not control the updates on the website and that I can call back 30 days after I sent my RFE.

Has this happened to anyone else? I'm so lost...

It happened with me before I got my RFE. I got a text saying my application was transferred from Vermont to my local field office and a couple of days later I got another text saying that they had transferred my application to Nebraska and then a couple of weeks later I got RFE.

OK. It didn't happen to me BUT I do know that the site has been very temperamental. I just recently got approved after my RFE and the site kept going back and forth from card prod to post decision etc. I would give it a couple of days and see what happens.

Great news Butters but if you don't mind me asking, why didn't you send it in the first place? It is a compulsory item and I remember hearing that a lot of Mexicans were delayed in applying due to the passport office being backed up.

Shrugs
I did not have the compulsory item until a day before my biometrics.
Well to make the long story short, i have no clue.
I am not singing victory until the approval. I have seen so many different outcomes...
I'll elaborate on details IF i get approved

huh? period of time what????

well the issue here is with 1 simple letter in my jacked up last name.... (i say jacked up because all my life its been made fun of, even a month ago a 50 yr old woman cracked a joke about it.... i'm 30... i did not curl up and feel embarrassed about it, instead i told her make fun of it all you want lady, been there 20 yrs ago....

anyhow, my attorney wasn't @ the office yesterday (the secretary made copies), and he called me today and asked the same question we went over 8 mos ago about the letter...... ayyyyyy its just a letter! its not like i was a Mario and now am a Maria.... geeeeeeeeeeeeee

plus i reminded him that on the DACA application we added the correct letter on the other names used sextion and that on the bio appointment they fixed it on their system and my biometric letter.
