Ive got an RFE today.. How long should it take to receive it in the mail?

On May 21, 2013, we mailed a notice requesting additional evidence or information in this case I821D Consideration of Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals. Please follow the instructions on the notice to submit the requested information. This case will be in suspense until we receive the evidence or the opportunity to submit it expires. Once we receive the requested evidence or information and make a decision on the case, you will be notified by mail. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

Guys I came out in my cousins 15 as a madrina in sep 07, so my name is in the invitation, will that work by itself? Or should i ask my cousin which shes now 22, to write a letter aswell?

My lawyer got my RFE letter. They are asking proof of presence in 2007, 2008, 2010, 2011.
I'm sending my high school transcripts for 07-08 and hospital record from 2010 and 2011 taxes I filled and college transcripts from 2010-2011. Is that sufficient???? Has someone sent similar evidence with success??

U should be fine i need proof from 2007-2012 I send my insurance policy with was under my mother(but had my name on it and was being paid every month) my hospital records from when I was pregnant and my daughter immunization book I didn't have much evidence (like college transcripts and taxes) and I was approved

Awesome I got everything together and it's going straight to my lawyer to send out tomorrow even asked for the day off. Thanks for the response I was kind of worried. I saw someone got 2 RFEs on the forum.

I have been a little busy so I don't get on here as often.I would jump on to see if there were some still waiting from the earlier post we had in the beginning.I have been learning how to drive..my partner yell's at me at times but I know she means well.lol I take my driver's exam on the 22nd of June & I have enrolled in our Community College,summer classes start May 28th..I so suck at math the placement test has me in pre Algebra but I tested right into college level english..I know ur approval is right around the corner..prayers up for u and all those that are waiting an insanely amount of time..

I still waiting to get the letter of what evidence they want they sent me the email on April 15... ;( they keep telling me I have to wait .. This is so irritated.

So I was able to get Bally total fitness payment history, but it doesn't show any adresses on the history sheet, it only says my name and membership number and when i made payment. Will that be enough or they need to see adresses or state where bally was at?

I submitted my RFE stuff back on April 5th to the Nebraska Center.
I'm two weeks away from the 60 day mark, and neither I nor my bro have heard anything :/ ughhhhh

i had to wait for 5 months after sending RFE....the 60 days thing means nothing to them try to contact your congress person it might help.

FIVE WHOLE MONTHS AFTER SENDING IN YOUR RFE! That's ridiculous!!!!! Here I am slightly hopeful cuz I have 2 weeks till the 60 day mark and it might not even happen in that time frame....

Did you contact your congress person? What did you tell him/her to do?! Did you do it over phone or email?

yes i did contact my congress person i also put in 4 service request. My congress person contacted Immigration person every two weeks asking for my status update luckily the third time she got a nice guy that helped resolve my case. My friend also got approved today after contacting the same congress person so i would recommend you going to their office if you have transportation or call them they will e-mail you the paper work i went to their office and submitted paper work told them i need to work to support my self. You don't need to tell them anything call them and ask them my case has been over due can you help me they should help you.

Yesterday I received a text saying that my Employment Authorization status was in Card/Document Production, but my deffered action not. So I called my lawyer to ask her and the bitch pissed me off. She said that she called USCI and they said that it was a system error. and nothing has been approved in my case. Also one important information that she gave me is that some case are taking longer because USCI is starting to make interviews to see whether you qualify for the deffered action. Fuck my life.

I Got approved Friday at 600p. Just a week after they recieved my rfe! Im soo happy. Now time to study for writting test. Good Luck everyone. I hope everyone gets approved soon. I had along wait aswell. Thank god my wait is over. :)

My son applied late December 2012 and he received a letter in late April requesting for evidence regarding some records they have that my son departed USA in 3 specific dates in May 12, June 18 and July 12,2011. the true is that he has never departed USA since he arrived in Dec. 2004.
My son was attending school and he did attend summer basketball practice.
We have the records of the school and a letter from his coach to prove that.

Our concern is that they said that they have records that said he departed!!!

Does anyone has a similar case.

He received the letter in April and you still haven't sent back the evidence yet? When is the deadline? I suggest you call the 1-800 number and talk to an officer about this. They should be able to tell you what would be the best option. Or if possible, talk to an immigration attorney or make an INFOPASS appointment.

Thanks for your reply JJ Glo. Deadline is July 10,2013, we were just busy with his high school graduation and college and university applications, he has CA Dream Act Cal grant granted in place.
We have the evidence that he was here on those specific dates that proves that he has not departed USA since the day he arrived.
We are going to mail it this week.

I was going to call but lawyer said to give uscis an other 30 day so they can come on an give a decision but I never call
