I submitted copies and will need to bring the originals to the interview.

You have to get Police certificate from the U.S? I was told that we only need one from our birth country.

Funny. I was told I would only need one if I had a criminal record here, so I didn't bring one and they didn't ask for it either. I only brought the one from my home country which they asked for and that was it.

What’s your home country? I guess it doesn’t hurt to bring something from the US just in case.

Venezuela, but my interview was in Colombia.

And yeah, It's better to bring more than you need than to be denied or placed in consular processing.

I just came back from consular processing in Juarez, I can confirm they will ask for a federal police certificate from your country of birth even if you have not been there since you were a minor. I also took a police certificate from the state of Texas where I live and turned in both at the time of the interview.

What kind of questions were you asked?

My whole Name
Date of Birth
Who petitions me
How old I was when I crossed to the USA
Do I have DACA
When did I get DACA
How old I was when I got DACA
When I crossed were my siblings or parents with me
Did my parents send for me
What does my husband do
How long has he been working there
What do I do

And that was basically it, she typed in her computer for most of the interview with questions here and there, at the end she reached for a green slip and said you are approved, here are some instructions and have a nice day.

Welcome back, and congratulations!

I wonder why they asked if your parents or siblings were with you... what did you answer?

Hey guys. My wife and I got our I-130/I-130A approved few months ago. What is next? We are self filling. Do we have to do or wait for anything to start the I-601A?
