Re: OFFICIAL: Q&A for DACA forms Part 2
I have helped two friends filed their DACA applications, and they have not submitted the two passport style photos with the paperwork, and both of them have been approved.
A copy of your passport is enough as proof of your age and identity. That is what we submitted and there was no problem. USCIS specifically says that any document that you submit, if is not in English, needs to be translated. The birth certificate is not necessary, so there is no need to send it. But if you do end up sending it, then definitely send a translation along with it. You only need to submit one G-1145 form. As far as sending too much information, in my case: I sent a credit card statement for each month from June 2007 - September 2012, plus college transcripts, plus amazon invoices, plus school certificates, just to prove continuos presence since 2007 and I got approved without RFE or problem whatsoever. In other two cases we only sent college transcripts, and degrees to proof continuos presence in the US and they still got approved with no RFE. Example: if you have documents that show that you were in the US for every single month from 2007 - present than it does not hurt to send it, as long as you are not doing overkill on sending a bunch of documents to proof one single month, etc. |

So I sent my application in 6/21 should I be hearing hearing something soon, or how long do I wait?! I am a nerve wreck over here! I submitted my application myself, sent to the LockBox and they received it 6/24.

that thread was pretty helpful. The first time youre applying, you want to learn as much as possible.

Re: OFFICIAL: Q&A for DACA forms Part 2
You don't have to send it express. You send it to the lockbox depending on where you live http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/usc...0045f3d6a1RCRD

Guys! When you get your biometrics app, what do you mean by "no walk in"?

After you guys sent your RFE evidence, did your case status change saying that they received the evidence? or did it stay the same (that they sent you an RFE notice) until they approved your case???
