Guys -- I sent my package but got a rejection notice saying that "the Fee Receipt provided by the Department of State is missing." They are asking me to resubmit and include a copy of the Fee Receipt.

What does this mean? What fee receipt?

I think I figured it out. They want the fee payment receipt from the immigrant visa.

Does anyone know if the new $960 fee includes biometrics? The one before was 630 + 85 for bio, but the new fees dont break it out like that from what I've seen.

Pretty sure there's an injunction against the fee hike from NDCA right now.

Are you talking about the I-601A application? I believe the fee they are referring to is the AOS and IV fee you need to pay for your immigration visa with NVC.

Mine was $325 and $120.

Guys if the processing of 601A takes longer than 1 year, which they are not 12-16months and only increasing day by day. Do we have to do anything, like call NVC to make sure the case is still open? I am reading in some places that one is supposed to call NVC to make sure the case does not expire before 1year of the 601A submission. I don't really understand what that means? does anyone know? @demise

Yes, you need to contact the NVC at least once a year to let them know you want them to keep the case open while your waiver is approved.

Is that the DS-260?

It is the 2 fees you paid on your consular electronic application page. I believe after you paid these 2 fees, you can start the DS-260 form.

Do those two fees have a name/form code? I want to make sure I do this right before I re-submit my I601A.
