Yea...I'm not liking that part at all. I'm not sure why they even added that.

After everything this country has done for us, if we commit a crime, I would argue that we should have no legal rights!

no way, thats a basic human and constitutional right for anyone living here.

that provision is ridiculous, they can f**k you over for something petty and you would have no legal right to defend yourself. outrageous!

don't fall for it!

If you commit a crime, you should not be allowed to obtain privileges. We have seen how some DACA receipents have given us a bad name. I am all for punishing the bad apples.

This nation owes you nothing, yet it has given you a great deal. If you don't like it and it comes to pass, simply don't apply to it. This is set to help DACA recipients.

yes true, they should and will be punished but that doesnt mean they can be denied representation.

that provision basically is taking away your due process rights.

im okay with this bill as long as it doesnt have provisions that infringe on civil liberties.

I agree that you should loose your privileges if you commit a serious crime, but you still should be allowed due process.

It seems like there are only a few difference between SA and DA, based on information we have so far. I will list them below from minor to major, IMO (DA version will be in parenthesis)

1. 15 Yr Path to Citizenship (13 Yr Path to Citizenship)
2. Cannot petition for family member until naturalized (does not mention this topic)
3. Must have arrived to US under age 16 by 06/15/2012 ( Must have arrived to US under 18 4 years pior to enactment of bill)
4. Curbs Future Visa Overstays (does not mention this topic)

Side Note: I think you guys have that waiver they have included wrong. They stated the bill requires future temporary visa holders to sign a waiver that would otherwise grant them an immigration hearing or other immigration-related benefits if they violate the terms of their visa.
While this does not directly affect us, I do not agree with taking away basic rights to due process
