I am curious...if a shutdown goes into the SOTU date...then why is it a certainty that it would benefit the Democrats?

It seems Trump could use the SOTU as a platform to spread his words and agenda and keep saying things like "It is all the Democrats fault" while the entire nation listens.

Of course I would like to think common sense amongst the majority of the population would know otherwise...but still...

So many people will be pissed at him by that time. It will just be a shit show. How are they paying for the organization of the SOTU lol. No nonessential gov employees will be working.

Anyways, I doubt it will make it to that point but if it does get tons of snacks and a nice bottle. It's going to be a funny show.
