Yeah, we've decided to be friends and let things flow... We already hung out last week, it was weird... but it was ok. He asked me if I wanted to be friends with benefits and I said, "no" :p He says he still loves me and misses me but he says he still feels resentment (and I can feel it, sometimes he's really nice but sometimes he acts weird...). He says he needs time. I'm just gonna focus on my things and see what happens. I've stopped texting him. He still calls me when he gets off work or during his lunch break like 3/4 days a week.

Everything is the same except that I don't feel like crap anymore. Sometimes I do feel sad... but not like before!

I told him I didn't want to be friends with benefits. I told him that being friends was actually a good idea, that way we can really really know how we feel about each other.

Because he's a good guy, and I did some really stupid things that I regret now... but it's too late the damaged has been done.

The guy sounds like real ass yet she defends him. Continue being friends with him is only going to get your hurt. But w/e if you enjoy on and off relationships then good for you.
