Re: States that give US in-state tuition (list)

I have contacted schools in New York, California, and Illinois and it seems that they request for the potential student to graduate from a local high school in the same state.

For example if the student lives in Massachusetts and wanted to apply for a school in New York, the student will not be accepted for his undocumented status even if he/she wanted to pay non-resident fees.

Hey,

I graduated High School last year in South Carolina (where I currently reside), and I'm just curious if anyone knows any schools with good music programs -- prefferably closer to SC, but anywhere would be technically fine -- that would enroll someone with an expired visa. I'm not really worried about the cost right now, as being able to go to school in the first place is my priority.

Also, I would preffer a school that I could still apply to for the fall semester 2010, but, again, not entirely necessary.

Sorry if I posted this on the wrong thread, but I figured since this has a list of states that are known to take students like me in, someone might know some schools.

Could someone run through the list and see if we need to update any information regarding in-state? Any states missing from the list? Any that should be removed? http://dreamact.info/students/in-state
