So if this passes and there's no DACA solution come Feb.8th

Does anyone really think Democrats will vote against Military funding, CHIP and Hurricane relief (since the GOP will most likely add it to trap the Dems) come Feb. 8th?

Today on the Senate floor, I will introduce a bill to reopen the government for three days while we finalize a bipartisan deal. I hope Republicans will not block this commonsense step to end the shutdown before the work week begins

That’s the right approach.

Collins/Murkowski/Corker all go in to McConnell’s office to present their ideas of a potential compromise on immigration/DACA in order to unlock impasse over government shutdown. @chadpergram



McCarthy on immigration: “Once the government opens we’ll get back to that.” McCarthy on a DACA deal: I don’t see current any legislation out there that has support. @chadpergram

Centrist democrats seem ready to cave and fuck us over. Schumer has been resolute and strong, hopes he holds them in line..
