Re: *****RFE Thread <- (Request for Evidence)****
My RFE was received by the USCIS on November 13th. I am not expecting it to be approved for another 2 weeks. I suppose these things take time. What bothers me is that some people get approved 2 days after their RFE is received, but others wait for about 5 weeks. It's fine though because at least my case has been looked at. I just need them to look at it one more time. Obviously the person that has my file, likes to take their time and be extremely thorough.

1.-how fast the immigration officer reviewing your case works. 2.-how complicted your RFE was. 3.-how solid your RFE evidence is. My brother for example his RFE asked for proof of residence for 2008 2009 2010 2011, he only Sent his H.S transcript as his RFE evidence.... USCIS got it on 11/26 he was approved 11/29 My RFE was asking for 1 year 2008 i send the evidence same day as him and im still waiting, Not worried though, i know i will be approved soon. |

You know...I just realized that all these files a scanned.... So sending them....with a cover letter.... And paper clips for organization is probably a bad idea huh....
I thought people were trolling when they said "don't send more than what they ask for" lol....fml ill be waiting 5 weeks for this shit too huh |
Re: *****RFE Thread <- (Request for Evidence)****
So I did some further research today because i wanted to see how long could i potentially wait for my RFE response I wanted to find out what is the longest standing RFE submission so far? So I decided to look at about 1000 LIN numbers today and this is what I seen so far..
In this sticky it seems like there's some people who waited 3 days for an approval and very few a couple of weeks but most people only waited about a week RFE - LIN1290843*** - 11/20/12 response received RFE - LIN1290843*** - 11/28/12 response received RFE - LIN1290843*** - 11/19/12 response received RFE - LIN1290843*** - 11/21/12 response received RFE - LIN1290843*** - 11/28/12 response received RFE - LIN1290843*** - 11/13/12 response received RFE - LIN1290843*** - 11/08/12 response received RFE - LIN1290843*** - 11/05/12 response received RFE - LIN1290843*** - 11/13/12 response received So it does seem like as time goes on the RFE responses are starting to get delayed as well unfortunately :/ Please note that all these are not approved or denied yet |
