The twitter message says it's the "unofficial" count. :-? But let's keep calling/faxing/emailing. Couple days ago his twitter said we are 4 votes from 60. Hopefully there is newfound support for DA.

If it fails by two or one sat(hopefully it will pass)...could Reid bring it again next week? This person thinks so...
The vote on cloture in relation to the DREAM Act is expected to occur sometime on Saturday morning, December 18. If the Senate fails to invoke cloture, the Majority Leader could decide to try again next week if the vote is close and he believes he can succeed at a later time.

It's a nice thought, but that would undoubtedly create disincentives for voting on DREAM the second time around. Whatever votes that could be gathered up might be offset by on-the-fence senators who are loathe to vote again, especially when it would extend their workload.

The focus is on tomorrow.

Think of it like a poker face. They don't want to show their cards till they have to. Its a smart, yet annoying, move.

My numbers 55-58 are really unsure. Everyone should put pressure on Murkowski, Collins, Ensign, Manchin, Snowe, Voinovich, and Brownback. Also, put pressure on those Dem Senators that are opposed to DREAM so that they will vote for cloture, and at least let the bill be debated on the floor. The Senators that probably fall into this category are Baucus, Tester, Pryor, Hagan, and Nelson (NE).
