Since Harry Reid Brought up that the Dream Act And the AG jobs should be attached to the the permanent E-verify Bill, we should thank him and keep encouraging him to push for pro-immigrant bills.

Don't think that this is all too early and this is "just" an idea. But with all due respect, this is where it all begins. "A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step." I encourage everyone to leave a brief message of support and tell him to not be bullied by the opposition. The earlier the better. The more we give our effort to this the more likely it will pass. How about influential activists? Such as Enrique Morones. These people have the power to organize good large marches. I will contact Enrique Morones; he always responds to my e-mails. If only we could organize a big mofo of a march like the one that occurred in 2006/2007.

As a reminder, we also have to pressure Obama to have some balls on this. Does anyone agree with me? It can't only be Reid and Durbin. Obama has shown some balls on other major issues. He needs to put in all his political clout on this with a simple message: "Compromise or you are not going to get anything."

What about Radio talk show hosts who have established a close link to Obama. Piolin is one example. Maybe, we should contact him to help us out in spreading the message.

Enrique Morones is organizing something in Arizona. 2 Face--If we were to plan a major march via facebook, do you think it would be effective? How in the hell were the major marches planned in 2006/2007? That would be great especially with Obama back stabbing our community with those workplace audits.

Yeah, if used properly, FB can prove to be a VERY effective tool. But this would have to be a collective effort by EVERY undocumented individual, every immigrant organization like DreamActivist. I read an article about this girl who made an open event on FB for her birthday by mistake and madddd people showed up. This is an actual cause. FB has played a critical role in the uprisings which started in Tunisia! Just saying...we can use it to our advantage for sure.

I understand your stance. I have one question for you: How would you react if Republicans hypothetically announced that they would be willing to vote yes on the DA if combined with E-Verify?

Also, would you be against a CIR measure if you discovered that a small number of non-criminal undocumented immigrants could not qualify?
