At a campaign stop in Iowa,a Latino college student asked the presidential hopeful what she would do to the children of undocumented immigrants. Bachmann reiterated her hard-line stance that the federal government should not grant them citizenship and said she "would not do anything" for them.

"Their parents are the ones who brought them here ... they did not have the legal right to come to the United States," she said. "We do not owe people who broke our laws to come into the country. We don't owe them anything."

When the subject turned to immigration at another campaign stop that day, Bachmann suggested passing a law that would bar citizenship to children born in the U.S. to parents who are undocumented immigrants. "We've got to end this anchor baby program," she said.

When asked during the in Las Vegas if she supports repealing the 14th amendment, Bachmann responded that the issue doesn't have to be dealt with constitutionally,but can be addressed with legislation. "There are a lot of Americans that would like us to deal with this issue of anchor babies legislatively," she said.

I don't need you to GRANT me citizenship. All I want is a pathway to EARN my citizenship.

RCP is a right leaning organization. Just like Rassmussen. So if he is only leading by 2 pts there.... he really isn't leading at all. And trust me that if Romney wins the GOP primary....he's going to have ALOT of explaining to do on his various positions. He's his own kryptonite. He won't win.

LOL @ Romney winning conservative votes. Not going to happen, like Feenmi said, his positions are going to doom him in the end. He's going to have a hard time to win conservatives to moderates with his recent stances COMPARED to other Republican presidents in the past.

A recent poll has Obama leading Romney here in Arizona. Red Republican Arizona of all places! Of course I don't expect Obama to carry Arizona, but it just shows you that you shouldn't read too much into polls this far from the election.

^^Highly doubt it Perry will face Obama, he pretty much shot himself in the foot. I personally think Romney will be the one facing Obama in the general election, regardless no GOP candidate has the potential to defeat President Obama.

They all suck. Perry, however, is somewhat of the lesser of all evils for our cause. For our sake, I hope Perry wins the primary--that way we are faced with a somewhat win-win situation.
