No major news organization has picked this up and I don't know if they will. It happened over 20 years ago and the "lie" is based on Romney's opinion of the value of a company.

Plus, this won't have the impact like it did with the 47% scandal that almost cost Romney the election. What is important though is that, although this news isn't worthy of being picked up on, his recent sole endorsement of a candidate named Richard Mourdock (The one that replaced moderate Lugar) could ultimately be a very tumultuous issue to the Romney campaign for the few days ahead.

It's really too late for any big changes in people's opinions at the moment.

The only thing that could cause a big change would be if it came out that he rapes little kittens or something -- and he'd still get 30~40% of the vote at that point.

Thing is, his endorsement in an ad, already sealed his fate with the small amount of undecided voters/women voters which will alienate them in this crucial time of the final stretch of the campaign.

It's definitely doing damage, as evidenced from fivethirtyeight blog by Nate Silver. Obama is up 75% to win up from 69%.
