Biggest question is which republicans he is courting here.

Are we talking people like Graham, Flake, or Murkowski. Or people like Cotton or Grassley? Combination of both?

This the devil in the details, lets be honest - Trump probably doesn't really have a set policy planned out, so he is fishing for ideas. Whose ideas he gets will probably stick, and I rather have Graham pull the strings than some asshole like Cotton.

That has been my only thought this week.

Several lawyers on Twitter believe we are at least 2-3 months out from the other indictments. Apparently he is going to let the three marinate for a while, consider their options, etc.

I can understand border enforcement and non-immigrant visa enforcement, but Raise Act, which is something that COMPLETELY FUCKS OVER family based immigration has no place in this debate.

Parents removed from IR category.
F1, F2B, F3, and F4 categories removed.
Cap on F2A set to 88,000 MINUS any non-quota adjustment/immigrant visa (other than IR). So Asylum/Refugee/DA/etc adjustment would take from that.

Hell the system needs a permanent 245(i) or some statute of limitations, or at least getting rid of the re-entry bans. The numbers didn't balloon up until that shit happened since people would come and go, the safety valve got plugged and it inflated.
