The daca deal is pretty much over, dems didn't do anything for us the past 8 years when they had control in the house and senate, Keep in mind the GOP tax bill got passed last year only because democrats funded the government, if they had really shut it down we would have the dream act by now. Nothing is going to happen, just try to renew your EAD asap when USCIS starts accepting.

Renewals are accepted 180 days prior to expiration. Don’t get ahead of yourselves and send applications before uscis releases any info.

haha Idk bro, i just want to get it out there that when the GOP really needed to pass the TAX reform it could have been prevented from the democrats if they shut it down, atleast the progress would have stopped and GOP would have been forced to pass the dream act.......it's all politics.

no one is wasting anyone time, anyone is free to come here and see the post or whatever........it's not bringing down the whole morale, it's to make sure everyone has a backup or a future plan and be alerted that this administration is not going to do anything for us, neither the democrats. we will be EAD forever!

To clarify I'm not being negative , but even if a bill is passed it takes months for uscis to get ready and start accepting applications. People are expiring everyday . I'm expired my renewal is in and I'm still waiting. We have to stop just thinking about ourselves or we will become just like who hate us .

Isn't that just a recommended time? I'm sure I read people sending in their renewals over 6 months in advance. I would advise you send it in ASAP if you have less than a year left.

Yup, it is a just recommended time.

During my last renewal i submitted mine with 150 days of anticipation. The whole process took 185 days and I was out of work for a whole month.

Don't wait too long to send your packet.
