Thank you to those brave democrats who voted no.

I'm watching a FB live by Indivisible. It's important to provide positive and negative feedback to the Senators. If your Senator voted 'no' thank them; if your Senator voted 'yes' tell them you are disappointed.

Long video, but good info about what happened and what you can do. If you are looking to get more involved this is a good organization.

Re: How Each Democrat Voted

Finally got home from work, it was incredibly hard to concentrate today.

On one hand, what pissed me off more were the reports of Democrats applauding while the Dems Senate Meeting was happening before the vote.= because they got a "promise." How fucking stupid you have to be after everything that's happened I'm glad they're being called out as sellouts. Most of them really don't have the stomach for this fight, even the ones from safe states like Chris Coons and Hassan.

On the other hand, there's few reports like this that say Dems didn't cave and they got CHIP for 6 years and GOP doesnt have that leverage anymore ttps://www.vox.com/policy-and-politics/2018/1/22/16920532/shutdown-deal-democrats

This might be true, but the GOP is laughing and know that all these senators don't have the spine or gut to do the same in three weeks again. Oh well

Durbin's statement link:

Quote:

“We have gathered the largest bipartisan group of Senators to ever commit to moving forward on the Dream Act and immigration. We have a process. I believe that that sets the stage for us to work together. For the first time in five years, we will have a debate on the floor of the Senate on the Dream Act and immigration,” said Durbin.

To all the Dreamers who are watching today: don’t give up. I know that your lives are hanging in the balance on what we do here on Capitol Hill and with the White House. Three weeks from now, I hope to be joining you in celebrating the passage, with you and your families and your communities, of a measure which will strengthen America and give you an opportunity to be part of our future.

I don't understand why TESTER from Montana voted No when his last 3 votes on CRs have been Yes. This is the same fucking blue dog who voted No on Dream Act in 2010, These congressmen are VERY manipulative. And I like how Connecticut Senators teaming up always.

Here's a cool graphic showing ALL senators votes on this CR and past CRs:

Yeah, that's the wide speculation all of them have been considering for 2020.

Where are the people who thought democrats would never turned on us?

I called this out long time ago and I was just verbally abused.
