Good. Put that son of a bitch Miller in his place.

Once Trump realizes Miller is keeping him from 'another' victory, he'll be flying out of the White House and taking up a job as a plane runway using his forehead.

Geez! From what Carportal makes it sound the world is falling. Of course no one is happy. We all knew that’s how this was going to be. That’s why is called bipartisanship because no one gets their way.

Stephen Miller is the one who has derailed everything. Make no mistake, he's not for us, but the media has been blasting him after it became apparent he's the one behind the wheel.

Don't be fooled, he may be backing off so the media leaves him alone, and even playing along for now, but he is not on our side.

Why cant they just deal behind doors and only release bills when they already become law. These exchanges end up ruining things

I think Stephen Miller is on our side in this scenario.

What they are offering are the following: Pathway to citizenship for DACA holders and eligible population. 25 Billion dollars for border security - WALL. You can only sponsor your wife and children. Get rid of the VISA Lottery.

I am actually okay with this AS LONG AS the aged out Dreamers from DACA are also included.

All it took was a conference call, apparently. I'm not going to fall for it. That asshole is the biggest snake. He's laying low and playing it cool acting as if he's working to help move forward... but I have absolutely not one bit of a doubt he's undermining or somehow trying to prevent this from happening.

How would they know whos going to vote for it if they kept it hidden? I mean thats the logical reason why they come out with it. But the truth is the real plan is already decided, this is all show for the conservatives to think their Republicans at the hill are working for their interests. Just like the Dems did a shutdown to act like they were fighting for us. The real truth is, all this shit had been planned out years ago. But im not about to start the conspiracy debate in these forums. lol

Let me put it this way... If we get some form of Dream Act that a) includes path way to citizenship and b) includes aged out dreamers... In exchange for 1) $ for the border wall 2) limiting sponsorship to your spouse and children 3) eliminating diversity lottery... Then I am okay with it.

Does the conspiracy go all the way back to September 2001? The month they were supposed to vote on the original Dream Act? Enlighten us!

Do it. Then flip the law back after Dems drag that piece of shit out of the White House. 2 years of restricted immigration + money for a Wall that cannot be legally and physically built for Dream Act sounds like a good deal to me.

yeah exactly... Dems should take the deal, you can't take citizenship away, you CAN add more immigration in the future

On Fox News, the comments are saying

"I can live with that deal! Unfortunetly for the dreamers Nancy and chuck will just play politics with their lives again!!"

"As a Trump voter, I can tell you that it was obvious to me from the beginning that this tradeoff was necessary and reasonable. It's a problem that should never have happened, but it's certainly not the fault of kids who were brought here illegally. But the bottom line is you can't offer them anything unless you have border security first, or else all of South America would be here in a week. If you have a wall, then you can afford to be generous.

To all the people to the right of me, I would point out that getting the wall is easily worth it."

Most of them are understanding.

No no no.. do not wake up the Duke on this subject lol..

But seriously though.. 2010, Obama is in office. Dems have Senate majority. DREAM Act is about to pass. We HAVE Republican support. All we need..... is 5 fucking Democratic votes.... We didnt get em. Now you tell me how did that happen.

Ill tell you what I think happened. I think they saw the problem back in 2000. Then realized it was part of a much bigger problem. Then they decided to fix everything as a whole. So yea it was basically fuck the dream act of 2010. let them wait till we fix the whole shebangbang. But of course we cant tell them they gotta wait another decade to their faces so lets act like we're trying to fix the problem now. And then when the time comes we'll use them as a excuse of "humanitarian relief" to make the American people sympathize with the fact that they need to fix immigration and drop 30billion on border infrastructures. But then again I could be wrong, who the fuck knows.

edit: oh yea! and lets give them DACA so we can pick out the bums and criminals out of the bunch, so when the time comes we have mostly a good crowd getting amnesty.

There was a guy on Fox News that was tearing up because he would lose land because of the wall. But that same guy then said that he would give up this land(the most fertile on his farm) if it meant that America felt safer. These people worship the wall.

He has one thing right and that’s for sure. Nancy and Chuck will most likely be playing politics. They expect the GOP to get burned when it comes to this issue.

I'm pretty sure he'll get paid off for the land. And if he doesnt and he is smart enough he should sue for compensation. But idk I think I watched something once about the border that says the Gov has the right to take land or something? not too sure about all the details.

Gutierrez on WH immigration plan: “$25 billion as ransom for Dreamers with cuts to legal immigration and increases to deportations doesn’t pass the laugh test..It would be far cheaper to erect a 50-foot concrete statue of a middle finger and point it towards Latin America”

Aside from the limited chain migration, it doesn't seem too bad. I'd day limiting the chain migration to Dreamers only would be reasonable.

Durbin: Dreamers should not be held hostage to President Trump’s crusade to tear families apart..Republicans have just fourteen days to work with Democrats to reach a bipartisan agreement to pass the Dream Act and solve the DACA crisis.
