Any deal on DACA that does not include STRONG border security and the desperately needed WALL is a total waste of time. March 5th is rapidly approaching and the Dems seem not to care about DACA. Make a deal!

I noticed he didn't mention chain migration. That was what could potentially sink a deal. If someone just gave him 15 billion in border security we could easily get a deal. I think he realizes limiting legal immigration is a non starter.

Lying scumbag traitor, who neither expected nor wanted to win, spent the entire campaign lying his ass off about Mexico paying for the wall and the gullible, easily manipulated part of the population believed him because it sounded cool. Now, we're paying the price, because Mexico won't pay for the wall (duh!), so he's holding us hostage to get his money.

This entire situation is 100% Trump's fault, he's a liar and a traitor, who should be removed from office. 1 year later and I still can't believe this ignorant buffoon traitor is in office.

Trump is actually tweeting about DACA because March 5th is approaching and there is no deal in sight and we all know who cancelled DACA, Trump! If March 5th gets here, he is going to have to do something to grant us protection, either accept any deal that is made, or ask Congress for a DACA extension. Trump does not want to take the blame of Dreamers being deported. He would be the only one at fault, no matter how much he wants to make it seem like it's the Dems fault.

They might be trying to drag this out closer to March 5th, when Trump will be desperate to sign any bill to grant us protection or face massive backlash for having cancelled DACA.

I doubt he cares about the backlash. He has gotten away with so many things and his base, the one that elected him, are not happy about this DACA deal. Democrats need to understand that our livelihood is on the line and then trying to have a dick measuring contests doesn’t benefit anyone.

I'm sorry but this is nonsense. The reason we're in this situation is because of Trump and Trump only. He was the one who cancelled DACA and is using it as a bargaining chip to get Democrats to fund his wall, which he promised Mexico was going to pay for. If it wasn't for his lies we wouldn't be here today.

If he really wanted to solve the situation, he would have signed the bipartisan deal.

Seriously, Democrats GAVE us DACA, this clown cancelled it, uses it to cover up his lie about the wall, and somehow you want to blame the Democrats? If Democrats were in power DACA wouldn't even be an issue.

Blame Trump and Trump only. He's an animal, a liar, a buffoon surrounded by white supremacists, who put us in this situation. Democrats had nothing to do with it.

Imagine if during the campaign Trump was honest and told the truth "We're going to build a wall, and you the American taxpayers are going to pay billions for it". Do you still think he would win the presidency?

I don't like Trump. Bashing him and his loony followers is too easy. I don't waste my time because it is known that the right in this country are generally not for us. For that reason, I see no point in trying to showcase how Trump has screwed us. No shit. However, one must come to realization that the Demon-crats, who pretend to care for us, are snakes. They give us the illusion, but don't deliver. Unfortunately, a good number of our colleagues believe deep down inside that the left cares. Fortunately, I am starting to see a trend where DREAMers are becoming woke. We can no longer let these clowns deceive us.

Absolutely not! The only issue that matters to us, at the moment, is immigration/daca. It's hard to predict whther Trump will get impeached or not but I definitely think that he is making the right moves when it comes to our issues.

Thinking back , the Dems should have agreed to the wall back in September. Looks like they are going to have to cave anyway. Being stubborn and refusing to agree to a deal with the wall gave miller and cotton enough time to build up case for the other 2 pillars.

We'll cross that bridge later. Our highest priority is to secure our status in this country without the fear of deportations. Once we our statuses have been addressed, then we can start going about our separate paths.

There's a good chance that could have happened, though we will never know for sure.

Trump can still get his Wall for DREAM Act like legislation, but he's not a strong enough leader to get it done. Instead he whines on twitter.
