There are many DACA, TPS holders, and others who have final orders of deportation. A final order does not equal criminal. This is misinformation. A criminal immigrant (irrespective of status) with convictions has to serve a sentence and then be detained and deported. This does not represent the majority of migrants.

I think undocumented people who have lived here for decades and are otherwise productive members of society should be given the opportunity to have their cases reopened and reconsidered. Thousands already have pending or approved petitions that they have paid for but have to deal with outdated and prejudiced immigration laws.

Yea, I think the important part here is to focus on things we can do versus those we cannot control --

Hopefully DACA has prepared us for this eventuality - If not then it's probably a good starting point to plan exit strategies.

The "majority" spoke in the last election and it didn't turn out the way we wanted it.
