This is quite sad that this lady has received so much hate mail because of promoting a Pro-dream article.We cannot afford to loose such rare pro-dream columnists.We will require articles from people such as her in order to help our cause so please send her your support whichever way you see fit.

That part just baffles me, guns for what? I mean when people went out en mass to buy their firearms when Obama was elected, there was some logical follow-through. Democrats ideologically favor a gun ban, and of course that socialist commie Muslim loving Obama is going to steal all of their guns the second he steps into office, so you gotta hoard up while you can you know. But guns against DREAM? Dreamies? What are we going to do, break into their homes and with a knife against their throat steal their jobs? Actually i don't know why i even tried and make sense of it in the first place, these same people would have probably protested against civil rights 50 years ago.

I think that's what the Lounge is for, Off Topic is for...well off topic threads, there's only so much dream that you can take. If anything, if I were her I would be weirded out how all of these kids talk dream 24/7 like mindless drones without any other hopes, dreams, wants or opinions.

Most of the idiots emailing her are prejudiced/racist people who are to far ingrained with their sense pf patriotism to see the bigger picture.

They say we are parasites, but guess what--we want to pay taxes, we want to buy cars, houses, and get those 2 year cell phone plans. We want to open businesses and improve the economy. They are the ones making us the parasites. What would be better having someone stay here and use their service for free as they say or pay for it via taxes?

These imbeciles want a definitive legislation that is going to be perfect. That is why immigration has been put off for so long. Everyone is bound to benefit by smaller laws like the dream act that tackles a sector of the problem. Something must passed as soon as possible to set the momentum and it cannot please everyone, it can later be amended as the consequences are observed.

Therefore, I don't care about those rednecks. They are the same type that wanted to maintain slavery and are for the Iraq war. All you have to do is hear them personally and the ignorance comes straight through.

guna send an email, its probly b/c its middle america, midwest, i mean Indiana, this is not a racial slur, but damn how more white can you get? i think we've discussed this before, on how the states who are speaking out about anti-dream/ non-immigrant friendly, are the ones, who do not have a big population of immigrants, their voice obviously should not be heard the loudest.
