Guys, I think its a glitch. I got the same thing:

On August 17, 2012, your notice I765, APPLICATION FOR EMPLOYMENT AUTHORIZATION was processed and mailed to the address on record. If you have not received it within 30 days of August 17, 2012, contact customer service at 1-800-375-5283. If you move NGLISH

I mailed my additional evidence to Vermont Service Center on the 19th, they received it the 20th

I hope I get my answer... First week of December....at the latest, else I'm killing myself and putting USCIS on the suicide letter.

After this glitch or whatever it was it now says it can take up to 60 days to receive a response. Anybody else get this?
"You should expect to receive a written decision or written update within 60 days of the date we received your response...."

If you read the rfe letter it says you'll get a response from them within 14 to 60 days of them receiving your evidence

Re: *****RFE Thread <- (Request for Evidence)****

My RFE was received by the USCIS on November 13th. I am not expecting it to be approved for another 2 weeks. I suppose these things take time. What bothers me is that some people get approved 2 days after their RFE is received, but others wait for about 5 weeks. It's fine though because at least my case has been looked at. I just need them to look at it one more time. Obviously the person that has my file, likes to take their time and be extremely thorough.

I think it depends on
1.-how fast the immigration officer reviewing your case works.
2.-how complicted your RFE was.
3.-how solid your RFE evidence is.

My brother for example his RFE asked for proof of residence for 2008 2009 2010 2011, he only Sent his H.S transcript as his RFE evidence.... USCIS got it on 11/26 he was approved 11/29

My RFE was asking for 1 year 2008 i send the evidence same day as him and im still waiting,
Not worried though, i know i will be approved soon.

That's what I Figured too.. They asked me for 2007, 2008 and 2009 and I just sent them my H.S transcript which covered 06-10.. It's been 8 days since they received my evidence.. Frustrating having to wait cause it will take the agent literally 15 seconds to look at my RFE and make a decision

Re: *****RFE Thread <- (Request for Evidence)****

You know...I just realized that all these files a scanned.... So sending them....with a cover letter.... And paper clips for organization is probably a bad idea huh....

I thought people were trolling when they said "don't send more than what they ask for" lol....fml ill be waiting 5 weeks for this shit too huh

Re: *****RFE Thread <- (Request for Evidence)****

So I did some further research today because i wanted to see how long could i potentially wait for my RFE response I wanted to find out what is the longest standing RFE submission so far? So I decided to look at about 1000 LIN numbers today and this is what I seen so far..

In this sticky it seems like there's some people who waited 3 days for an approval and very few a couple of weeks but most people only waited about a week

RFE - LIN1290843*** - 11/20/12 response received

RFE - LIN1290843*** - 11/28/12 response received

RFE - LIN1290843*** - 11/19/12 response received

RFE - LIN1290843*** - 11/21/12 response received

RFE - LIN1290843*** - 11/28/12 response received

RFE - LIN1290843*** - 11/13/12 response received

RFE - LIN1290843*** - 11/08/12 response received

RFE - LIN1290843*** - 11/05/12 response received

RFE - LIN1290843*** - 11/13/12 response received

So it does seem like as time goes on the RFE responses are starting to get delayed as well unfortunately :/

Please note that all these are not approved or denied yet

It seems about normal. In the state of FL,they issue you a paper license and you have to wait a couple weeks to get the real license.

Lol, I have a job. I didn't care for the wait to the EAD,but after I got the RFE I figured I'd have to wait a week or so...tops. It's more of a drag than a bitching and moaning-fest. No where near the rest of these forums.

Touché though.

Hard to say tbh, on this thread it seems like majority got approved 7 days after submition, a couple after 2-3 days and very few over a month.. I been waiting for over a week now.. I wish they kept RFE's under a week since we already waited inline for a decision
