Looks like we're going to get our very own Dream subcommittee immigration hearing soon.

Also, the faster health care gets done the better. President Obama put an insurance policy on health care that allows reconciliation language, i.e. 50+ votes needed instead of 60, to be put in after mid October if the Republicans filibuster health care before that time. A long health care fight would knock off other items on the agenda. Lets hope 60 votes is achieved on health care by the end of the summer, and with the President's vow to sign health care by July 31st, he might know that he already has the votes for it or is pressuring the opposition in the way of health care reform to give in.

I highly doubt roger wicker is going to vote for a CIR bill. Lott knew he was retiring so he just didn't give a damn.

another bigot rearing its head. are you deficient in processing information? we had numbers like these in 2007 that made immigration reform in the realm of possibility with mccain championing the big "bipartisanship". is this article a good news for CIR? sure, im not arguing that. am i gonna start jumping up and down and blow a load on your face? no.

try to be calm and understand politics before spouting ill informed opinions and belittling someone's math skills because you dont agree with their opinion. i dont know why this kid keeps replying to my posts. if you dont agree, fine, let it be. dont try to start a situation with disparaging comments.

Suit yourself, Bruin. Do remember though that there was something called an election back in 2008, and that altered the math that The Hill newspaper mentioned.
