So Republicans get what they've been crying for, and the democrats compromised..I think this was a chess move in order to get some republicans voting in favor of dream act.

It sounds nice, but we think they're trying to stall the DREAM Act until the session is over.

What I think the Dems should do is schedule the votes/vote on the issues as usual and then say the bills did not pass because the GOP voted against them, if the Republicans want to play politics the Democrats need to step their game up too. Schedule and vote on issues as usual if it fails so be it, blame the other party for failing, rather than playing the short term gain, the Democrats should be looking for the long term gains. They should be trying to make the GOP bad. I know many of us cant stand it anymore but that's politics and were just caught in the cross fire.

Sorry to say but that's a stupid idea, especially coming from someone who wants DREAM Act to pass. That's all they've been doing all this time, blaming each other. We want them to stop playing these games and actually pass the DREAM Act once and for all. It's been a decade since they started this game, and you want to prolong it?

You're obviously not seeing the politics stand point, its not about what can get done its about how bad you how can make others who are trying to do something look to the American public .and yes I would like to see Dream act pass, anyways getting back into topic, surely this is what the Democrats plan to do since and I'm just going off on a rumor for today we are having a House vote on the dream act today. its all a game of politics, even with the house and 59 democrats in the senate the party time after time the Republicans always kept ahead of the game. like that stupid GOP were not voting for anything letter, the democrats and Obama are like little kids trying to fit in with a group of friends after they got into a fight total masochists.

and then this stupid letter comes out and people are going crazy that the gop is filibustering EVERYTHING seriously people, you should have expected it.

I understand what you are saying completely, but we want the Democrats to stand up and be the bigger "man" here. Obviously they can play the blame game but that's not going to get anything done, they've done just that for the past 10 years and look where that got us. We're the ones at a disadvantage here, and thus need them to compromise in whatever way possible for us to get our DREAM.
