At 18 he made a choice. He could obey the law and wait his turn. He could join the military and serve 3 years. Or he could break the law. He chose to cheat.

Let the kid who has applied to come here legally in. Kick this kid who has cheated out.

YUP! Look at those comments. I didn't even read the story, I know how it goes.

It's annoying and unfortunate how misinformed these people are. And when you try to inform them they shut down. They still think we can join the military. -_-

atleast some one tried to put that person in their place

"Do you have ANY IDEA how archaic and bureaucrat*ic the immigratio*n system really is? DID YOU KNOW that when someone comes here and tries to do it LEGALLY, they still have to pull up to an INS center that has a bus parked in neutral, waiting to load you on if the official doesn't like your answers? Were you aware that shady lawyers make millions taking thousands from immigrants to file paperwork, don't file so much as a post-it, and use the informatio*n they were given in the attorney-c*lient relationsh*ip to ensure their former client never complains?

You make it sound like becoming a citizen is simple. It isn't. I don't blame people for jumping the fence, honestly. And I think that a kid that has been here since before they can remember and isn't breaking the law should be a citizen. Your high moral horse is doing us no good"

I am really getting sick of all the negative comments from these uninformed Americans.

If you say going out through the vaginal canal on American soil is "cutting in line", they get all high and mighty like it's a God given birthright. I'm all for justice and fairness but they swear like they actually worked for their citizenship but in reality they just got "lucky" but they still have no room for compromise.

There was a guy in the comments complaining why convenience stores and gas stations are owned by east Asian people, stereotyping and specifically whining about Indians. You swear like they hi-jacked some white guy's store/gas station like a bunch and terrorists. This is America where in most cases you reap what you sow.
