What’s the likelihood that Democrats could control Washington in 2012?

Quote:

As of December 31, 2011 the likelihood of the Democrats retaining the Presidency is 53.7 percent, retaining the Senate is 20.7 percent, and taking the House is 32.7 percent. This is compiled from Betfair, Intrade, and Iowa Electronic Market prediction market data.
Quote:

What does that 53.7 percent mean for Obama? Not too much at this moment. With the election 10 months away, markets are going to be conservative. Still, markets are predicting that numbers will continue to move in his favor.

As for holding on to the Senate, it is not looking good for the Democrats. The Democrats control 23 of 33 seats up for election and are facing slew of retirements, including Ben Nelson from Nebraska this week.

this has nothing to do with the Dream Act. As we all know from Dec 2010, it doesn't matter who controls Washington in regards to the Dream Act.

This has everything to do with the dream act, unless you don't know the way laws are passed

HAHA love mantequilla honesty. Plain and simple we need a real war not some bullshit hunting civilians with opinions and broomstick in the desert. Once a draft is initiated they will be forcing us to join up and fight their honest fight for their honest country.

I was watching MSNBC and the chances of Democrats taking back the house are much higher now than the Republicans did back in 2010 when they did in fact take the House. If I recall correctly, chances were at 35% for the Democrats of taking the house back, new poll results btw.

I think taking the House back is not gonna be much of an issue, I mean this congress has the lowest approval ratings ever, 11%. I know the Democrats are gonna have a hard time keeping control of the senate, since 23 of their senators are up for re election, Republicans will lose Senate seats as well (See Elizabeth Warren vs. Brown), but I guess only time will tell.
